Meet the Orthodontist
Andrea S. Nakisher D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Nakisher is originally from the Chicago area. She has been serving Farmington Hills/West Bloomfield area and the surrounding communities for since 1997. Dr. Nakisher attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate studies. Upon returning to Chicago she attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She completed her dental degree in 1994 and graduated form the Orthodontic Specialty program in 1997, receiving a master in oral sciences, as well.
Dr. Nakisher is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, Chicago Dental Society, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Great Lakes Orthodontic Study Club.
Dr. Nakisher is a third generation dentist. Her father, Dr. Daniel Uditsky, still practices in the Chicago suburbs. Dr. Nakisher, her husband Dr. Brian Gendelman, and their 5 children Isabel, Emily, David, Stephen, and Jack live in West Bloomfield. They truly enjoy being part of such an active community. In her free time, Dr. Nakisher enjoys spending time with family, traveling, biking, walking, swimming, and reading.
